- DTHH duplex drilling adjacent to existing live viaduct structure and close by housing to install micropiles for replacement viaduct construction.
- Tracks live above drilling locations

- Work started rotary water flush but finished DTHH due to obstructions.
- Driven Piles APF re-design to save schedule and reduce NYCTA GO weekend outages
Astoria Boulevard, Queens – Micropiles – MTA NYCTA
- Rotary water flush & DTHH drilling adjacent to elevated railroad to install micropiles for ADA access construction.
- Micropiles, 7” & 11 ¾” diameter
- Pile load tests
- APF redesign from jet grout underpinning to micropile supported pile caps to support elevated subway and platform
